You could be a freelancer, ie getafreelancer.com, where you bid on work. You could sell e-books through the newspaper, by refering people to your website. Your site would have a hop link in it that would move the visitor from your site to the ebook site. Your affiliate id would be in the hop link and you would get credit for it. You can advertise real cheap in the americanclassifieds.com/thriftynickel.com papers.
