People back in the past used to live for hundreds and hundreds of years because the atmosphere was different. I know that some fossil evidence must exist of these people.

Does anyone know if this has been found? I think the DNA evidence would prove the stories in the Bible are true?

Are there any scientific websites that have investigated this?

I think that would be an interesting project for a University to undertake. We know the Flood took place, because there are legends of it in the middle east and there is evidence of a flood being there.

If you could examine the bones around the area, I think we would find evidence. What do you think?

Eh? That means there is evidence of a flood in the middle east. That's all.

In fact, the fact that said flood left evidence there but not simultaneously in other areas on the planet, tends to *disprove* a worldwide flood.

I think you are a little to easily convinced of things.

There is no evidence at all that ancient people used to live longer, in fact it's just the opposite. Why do you accept such outrageous statements with no proof, and why are you posting a religious question in a science section?

And big deal that there was a flood - there are *always* floods that people remember, because civilizations need a reliable source of fresh water so they without exception grow up in river valleys. After a long enough time, *every* river will have a memorable flood that, as far as the inhabitants know since they thought their little corner of the earth was everything there was, "destroyed the world."

Religious logic: the biggest oxy-moron that ever was.

This is something that has bugging me for years. The Bible explicitly mentions that in the generations following Adam and Eve, there were "giants" among men that lived for ~120-130 years. That these "giants" procreated with the "daughters of adam and eve."

I am rather confident that this is making an implication to an extraterrestrial race. Beings that were extremely humanoid, but not quite human. "Giants," perhaps nearly 7 feet tall and a lifespan of ~120 years is rather "inhuman."

Fossil remains have not been found. Reasons of this could be that the numbers of the "Giant" long lived beings were so few, that the statistic chance of leaving behind fossils were minuscule.

No, there is no known evidence of such. The problem is that if this testing was made public and the results did not indicate people living for hundreds of years, 'believers' would be SOL.

Time and time again, the Bible has been right where "science" has been wrong.
