My husband is 25 yrs old generally in good health. Yesterday said he felt tired. This morning we went for Breakfast and we had to leave becuase he was feeling "weak". We went to the nearest clinic and we were sitting in the waiting room when he said he felt like he was going to pass out and couldn't sit in the chair any longer. He said he wanted to go lye down at home. He started tearing up and looked worried, he couldn't walk very well to the car. We got home he slept for 4 hours ate some supper and seems better. We are going to book him in for a full physical at the doctor but I was very concerned. He also recently cut his fingers on some sheet metal however there is no infection, and they were takaen care of by a physician. Any advice would be appreciated while we wait to get in the a doctor.....

The symptoms you describe could be for anything. Diabetes. Mono. Heart valve problems. Excessive potassium.

Too keep from doing too much worrying don't take anything you might read here too seriously.

But do check out http://www.webmd.com/. They have a system where you can enter in symptoms and it will spit out the most likely reasons for it. However, don't read it if you're the type to worry too much. My wife got to believing she had a tumor when all she had was gas.

The waiting for an answer is the worst part. I hope that it all turns out alright. Good luck.

Gout can be very painful. My guess is that he's not getting much sleep due to the discomfort. Fatigue can cause many of the symptoms you describe. Turn on a ceiling fan in your bedroom - winter or summer - to help circulate the air better, so he can breathe better, so he can sleep better, so he will rest better. I found out many years ago - by going to a Health Food Store that sells Shaklee Brand Vitaimins & Minerals & purchased a huge bottle of Shaklee Alfalfa Tablets, Taking these tablets as directed, I found it neutralizes the uric acid to help relieve discomfort from gout. I take them daily - whether there's a flare up or not - and haven't had any problems with Gout in a very long time. No - it will not work overnite. He may not achieve noticeable relief until about the end of the first bottle of Alfalfa tablets. They contain natural chlorophyll & helps combat body odor & also helps combat sinus allergies.

Ok this may sound crazy but read this. Have you ever had any old water leaks in your home? If you have ever had any old water leaks inbetween walls in your home it could cause the growth of the very dangerous mold called stachybotrys. Funny name but dangerous effects, one of which is fatigue, headaches, loss of memory and traumatic brain injury. Sounds far fetched but it happened to me. The first thing I noticed is loss of memory and bad headaches. The bad thing is its invisible. You have to check your home or work environment for old water leaks that start inbetween walls. God Bless,

i am not a dr. or nurse, but i do have low blood sugar.
it sounds like your husband could possibly have it. take him to have the physical right away, or if it happens again, don't take him home, take him to the emergency room, no matter what he says. sometimes people experiencing a sudden drop in sugar levels don't know what they are saying.
if it gets too low, he could go into a coma.
