18.

I've had a generally close, but rocky, relationship with my parents. They divorced when I was younger and then reunited, a decision that I still think may have been the wrong one. They've had problems with dependency and a lot of things have happened that have made trusting my parents, particularly my father, very difficult.

My parents respond quite well to my friends. I've been lucky enough to befriend some genuinely wonderful people. I've had a couple of friends who I eventually found to be people not worth trusting. My parents were annoyed by them but allowed me to figure it out for myself. They've been supportive of friends who have been a little flaky if they are the way they are because of negative experiences in life.

I have a lot of freedom. I place my own limits. I've learned from my parents' bad decisions and I think that they see that and trust my judgement more than their own. So far my judgement has led me well. I'm 18 years old. Next year I'm moving out of state to pursue my college education at a school with outstanding academics with a full scholarship. I've stayed away from drugs, alcohol, and sex. For the most part I've been quite honest with my parents, a courtesy they haven't always returned to me.

I realized today that in answering your secondary questions I forgot to answer the primary one!
For the most part we only argue about the little things like household chores as far as I'm concerned. Our big arguements revolve around my parents' relationship problems with each other, their occasional drug use, and money problems.

OMG, like numerous day everyday and that's hardly a shaggy canines tale. My Dad does no longer stay with me yet we do no longer probably argue, he's learnt that arguing with me potential you will no longer win, lol. My Dad knows on a similar time as to lower back off and % up in the past i bypass psychological, my Mum at different hand does no longer, and argues extra perfect than me! She's so rattling annoying. I in basic terms forget approximately approximately approximately her on the instant, it is far less complicated that way.

20 yrs. old

I've had a good kind of relationship with them, we have our disagreements about things.

They like them. One friend of mine is practically a sibling. we've known each other since Kindergarten, and still talk occassionally

I enjoy my freedom when i get it. We're a close family so we're always together rather it be eating out, or going shopping. My parents don't let me go hardly anywhere by myself, because i think they're just being protective and dont want nothing to happen.
