I have the chance to purchase an 85 honda big red 250 that need a carburator. where can i get a new carburator for it. and is parts hard to find for it. and where can I look for parts on the net?

It's probably a Walbro carburator. They're fairly inexpensive, and easy to rebulid.

A carb kit shouldn't cost more than $18.00.
If you have the old carburator, find the numbers stamped into the side of the discharge flange.

Should have three letter and two number. Similar to (GLA-35)

Otherwise, check with your local Honda shop and have your serial number handy.
