I have 2 desktop computers, one I would like to use for personal things and the other for business. Can I have Quickbooks running on my personal computer and my website running on the other?
How do you separate your computers from personal and business?

Typically you would host your website with a domain host such as godaddy.com (~$5/month). The webpages could be created on any computer then uploaded to the host. The html files are text and would not interfere in anyway with either computer. You just need an internet connection preferably broadband.

A common website creation program is Frontpage (which I use) and is used to code the HTML and is also from which the files are uploaded. I also use Photoshop for the graphics that I incorporate into the website. There are many other programs that can be used. Some folks even use notepad to create the code and use Windows Explorer to FTP the files to the host. You have to be pretty good at html to do so.

As far as separating personal from business that is your choice as you don't really need to do so except for your own personal organization. I have both on one computer at home and have no issues.
