Cascades - Listen To The Rythm Of The Falling Rain
The Cascades originally did it, but more recently it was done by Michael Bolton. Here it is:
Listen to the rythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been
And let me be alone again
I wish that if you go and let me cry in vain
But little does she know that when she left that day
The only girl I care about has gone away
Looking for a brand-new start
Along with her she took my heart
For her to steal my heart away when she don't care
Rain please tell me not as that seem fair
I can't love another when my heart's somewhere far away
The only girl I care about has gone away
Looking for a brand-new start
But little does she know that when she left that day
Along with her she took my heart
Rain won't you tell her that I love her so
Please as the sun has set her heart aglow
Listen to the rythm of the falling rain
Rain in her heart and let the love we knew start to grow
I wish that if you go and let me and cry in vain
Telling me just what a fool I've been
Oh, listen to the falling rain
And let me be alone again
Pitter Patter Pitter Patter ohhhh

Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain,
Telling me just what a fool I've been.
I wish that it would go and let me cry in vain,
And let me be alone again.
Now the only girl I've ever loved has gone away.
Looking for a brand new start!
But little does she know that when she left that day.
Along with her she took my heart

I think it was sung by someone called Brian Hyland. At least that's what the dj said the other day when he played it on my local radio station. Why would he lie?
