Computer b does have access to the net through the wireless connection.

When you bought the wireless router and the wireless receiver you received an installation disc

When you used the installation disc, it went through set up and at one point prompted the security settings, you could choose all the way up to 128 bit encryption.

This means your computer can use the internet wirelessly, but others can't tap into your signal.

Maybe you should try the disc again, whatever password you choose, make sure you copy it down and keep it in a safe findable place.
