I'm in a phase where I like watching 50% completely unreal and 50% partially realistic movies. Pretty much just horror.
Don't recommend Wrong Turn. Atrocious movie.

Well here are a few... Cry Wolf, Saw 1,2,3.., The Cave (was really good..I liked it) , Derailed (was suspenseful),Hostel...
And if you want to go to the movies watch the Grindhouse movies coming soon to theaters.

Sorry if I repeat some other answer, but I just saw SAW,I AND II. Both are just cool. And I here there's a part II to "The Hills Have Eyes". "Jeepers Creepers" was a gory one for me, too. Go to Netflix online, they have an awesome assortment of the older more classic gory movies.

the descent was basically like aliens, and that movies good. as for the hills have eyes Texas chainsaw massacre 1 & 2

Dead Alive. It was one of Stephen Jacksons first films although it is a zombie flick so its not very realistic it is easily the goriest movie of all time and will satisfy your needs for gore and blood for a while.

Cry Wolf was a pretty good movie. I also like the Urban Legand movies. And your right, wrong turn was a bad movie.

Both of those are gore so I think you would enjoy all of the saws and hostel Texas chainsaw massicares and maby even jeerpers creepers

1.wolf creek was a good one and it's based on true facts and they still .haven't caught the killer.
2. hostel was really good athough it was fictional this really happens.
also try renting the original the hills have eyes series. it's probably better than the new ones.
