I fought for AP classes at my school and was the main reason as to why we not have them. I am now taking two AP's Gov and Literature. I have taken 4 transferable college classes at a community college and about 4 non transferable community college coureses. I have a 3.9 unweighted at my highschool 4.01 weighted and a 3.9 at the community college. I applied as a bio major and this is how I ranked the schools: 1. Revelle 2. Warren 3. Muir 4. Marshall 5. E Roosevelt 6. 6th college. I alos applied to UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara. If you could let me know what you think about my chances of getting into UCSD( and UCB + UCSB if you feel like it) and the 6 schools that would be great.

From your description, I think you are a competitive applicant but I won't comment on your chances for admission because I am not part of the admissions committee. Since universities look for diversities, they don't always take the students with the highest scores, although having good scores definitely help.

I can say something about UCSD though since I went there. My ranking would be:
1. Warren
2. Marshall
3. Muir
4. Roosevelt
5. Revelle
6. Sixth

I put Revelle in 5th place because of the writing requirement. For example, Marshall has 3 course sequence while Revelle has 5. I can still hear those Revelle students complaining. Also their dorms are a little too close together and tend to be noisy but I suppose it's good if you want to run into new people.

I picked Warren first because I think they have the best dorms. People from other schools usually flock to Warren because it seems like the most exciting place.

Muir is at the center of campus so in terms of location, it is the best.

Roosevelt recently got their new dorms and if you like sports, it's a good place to be since it's near all the recreational area.

Sixth college is new and I think they are still making their students stay at Camp Snoopy with no even their own cafeteria. But I am sure they are working on it to make all the schools balanced.

The reason I only mentioned the writing requiement and the dorms is because those are the biggest differences between the colleges. Once you live off campus, it doesn't really matter what school you belong. Also if you are really unhappy, you can request for a transfer.

I hope you hear some good news soon.
