It does make you wonder who thought of these things....

Imagine if no-one had known about using cow's milk (goat's milk etc.), and then suddenly now a man tells us that he's been pulling on the udders of a cow to extract its milk, and has then drunk it. We'd consider him perverted.

And what was going through the mind of the man that decided to extract oil from the liver of a cod, just to see what use it could be?
