A schedule 1 controlled substance is one that is contraband, with no medicinal purpose. it is only appropriate to have such a substance if you can demonstrate that you are a participate in a federally finded and controlled research study. for a detailed discussion, see gonzalez v raich, 545 U.S. 1 (2005)
