London has many ariports, which one in particular you want to travel from? Any way, Birmingham is not thats far from London. You are better off to go by train or bus, which takes a couple of hours only.

Buses are much cheaper, should be within the range of 15 to 20 pounds, and 30 to 40 round trip.

Harmbugger should cost you not less than 1 pund (i.e. about 2 USA dollars).

B&B is among the cheapest hotels. Those outside central London are cheaper than those in central London. If you can manage to get 50 pound per night, consider yourself you've got a bargain. London is very expensive!

Otherwise, go to YMCA.

All the best!/

Hi! I live in Birmingham - well done on choosing to visit us! It's a FANTASTIC place!

Your best bet is to catch a train from London Euston station to Birmingham New Street station. The journey only takes about 90mins and can cost in the region of around £40, depending
on the time you choose to travel.

Go to www.tfl.gov.uk for details of the tube and how to get from place to place.

Coaches also run (www.nationalexpress.co.uk) from London to Birmingham. They are very cheap (from only £6), but they do not drop you off in the centre of town. I would prefer the train. The coach also takes two hours longer than the train.

A hamburger costs about £1, I think! It's been a long time since I've eaten one! :-)

If you need any advice about hotels or things to do when you are in Birmingham, feel free to email me and I'll be happy to help.
