Make sure you stay hydrated, and if you are breastfeeding your 6mo then you should also make sure you are eating properly to produce enough milk and to feed your new seedling and yourself :)

My only concern is that it is going to be hard with two little ones. But I am sure that you will be able to manage. My best friend has four children under the age of five. It is rough for her, but her outlook on it is that her life is never boring!
Advice that I can give you from knowing my experience with her and her four little ones, spend as much time with your baby now as you can. Enjoy your child before the new baby comes. I know that the baby is young and will be young when the new one comes, but try your best to make him/her understand that they will be a big brother/sister.
As for when the new baby comes, be sure that you treat them both the same. I know that the baby will need more attention, but you have to make sure that you have enough time for the two of them. Spend time with the two of them together, but also with the older child alone. It may be hard to understand, but the older baby may feel like he is being replaced by the baby and he eventually will start to retaliate. Make sure that you do not scold him for being too close or being too rough with the baby. He doesnt know any better and is probably jsut trying to figure out what this new little person is doing in his house.
I dont really have any health concerns for you. Just that you stay rested and well hydrated. Take your prenatal vitamins everyday and eat well. Dont worry about the weight issue with picking up the baby at all. As long as he is under 25 pounds, you are fine to hold him.
Good Luck and Congrats on the New Baby!
Hope all goes well for you.

I know it probably seems as though you will never be able to manage--- but amazingly, you will! I was so freaked out when I got pregnant when my baby was six months old--- I hadn't had a period (was nursing) and thought I wasn't ovulating yet.
some people can nurse right through the pregnancy. Despite being really careful of my nutrition, my milk supply dwindled and so I put my baby on goat's milk and she did fine. (Less allergenic than cow's milk)
Mostly, just get really good food (plenty of calcium and B-complex vitamins, fruits and veggies and enough protein) and as much rest as you can. Right now you should just slow down and try really hard to adjust to just being a Mom for a while. Nothing else matters very much--
The kids will love being close in age--- and remember, some day they will grow up and you can have a perfect house, a career etc. For now, just be happy being Mommy.

cling in there and wait and notice! Your infant must be doing purely advantageous. Do be sure that she is under the best supervision to do away with the different unfavourable aspects! i might additionally propose for you to no longer placed your toddler interior the walker except she is extra good. I constantly say that don't placed your toddler on the walker before age! possibly your baby is a prior due bloomer and the muscle tissue are actually not good sufficient to stroll. putting her there skill increasing unfavourable aspects of injuries to inner muscle tissue. And don’t even get me began approximately exterior harm unfavourable aspects in the event that they're working approximately unattended! choose for something like the PlanToys toddler Walker, that's extra of a push toy and age-suited. as quickly as your toddler is pulling herself up with help, you are able to attempt this walker. yet don’t push your baby by making use of putting her interior the walker.

Just make sure your OB is aware of it all. My first two are 10 months apart. (Dec 03, Oct 04)
Having two so close together is a challenge, but don't worry you'll be ok. Make sure you remember to S L O W down and practice patience. And last thing- always remember, don't be afraid to ask for Help!

My two youngest children are 15 months apart. It's not easy, but I don't think it should affect your pregnancy. I didn't have any problems. Good luck!!!
