Where did my browsers and downloads dialog box go?

Question

I am using Windows XP. I did a system restore and now the only browser that I am able to access is Avant. When I tried to download another Mozilla Foxfire,(or anything) I can't find my download anywhere, I have searched in my files also.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I am starting to freak out :) uuugghh

When you download Mozilla Firefox, be sure you tell it exactly where to place the downloaded file. I usually place files like this in my C:/Temp folder. The download manager will give you the choice of telling it where to place the program... just place it somewhere you can find it.
