As Beethoven was a true muscian I am sure he would listen only to vinyl lps in stereo-not surround sound(evil). Now if he heard his Symphony #5 performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini reproduced on a DEUSTCHE GRAMMOPHON lp played on my stereo rig he would be delighted(if he could hear it that is-you know he was losing his hearing and was virtually deaf at the time of his death.
