A+ and A- blood mix?

I remember learning in biology class that if a guy is A- and a girl is A+, it can be difficult to conceive a child because the baby's blood will try to fight the mother's blood. I can't remember exactly what this is called or much else about it. Please give me any information you can on it. Links are helpful! Thanks!

You mean the effect of the rh factor, but it happens when the mother is (-) and the child is (+)..if any of the childs blood reaches the mother blood system (-) ,it will make antibodies against the (+) which will cause his death..this can be prevented by giving the mother Rh immunoglobulin to prevent the whole thing.
