Hi..... Do you use, or have experience with a 17 inch laptop? ..... Which brand would you recommend, particularly those that maintain good cool temperature's for 1, 2, or 3 hour's.... ( Please state the length of cool time.).... Thanx...

I would look at the acer aspire 3650. I use acer laptops and they are great computers.
DO not get Dell, HP or Compaq because I work in IT and most of the laptops that i see with major hardware problems come from those three brands, although hp and compaq are the same company now. Toshiba Qusmio laptops are great entertainment laptops with a 15 or 17 inch screen. If you are traveling i would only get a 15 inch becuase a 17 sucks more battery and it is heavier. If you are mainly using at home stick to a desktop becuase they are cheaper and easier to service.

Hi I use a 17" laptop. right now while typing this reply. it is awesome, after some good research i decided to go with HP and everything is awesome. I am not sure of the cool time but i bought a dv 9000 t(with intel)

17" displays are cool - especially for gamers - however - battery time is 3 hrs. max.
My buddy has a 17" Dell - has caused him no problems - no heat problems.

i would recommend Dell or Gateway computer.
they are da best!
lm answering ur question right now with a Gateway 17 inch

now adays, ppl like small laptops, becuz they can travel easier.

get the acer aspire 3650 it has a built in web cam and this lap top is quick

Go to the store and try this one, don't worry about the over heating.
The new dual tech keep them at normal temperatures
