If You Get the Flu and Are Pregnant
Call your health care provider. Get plenty of rest, and drink a lot of nonalcoholic liquids. Do not use any over-the-counter cold and flu medications, herbal products and dietary supplements without first talking to your health care provider. Just because something is available over the counter doesn't mean it's safe to take during pregnancy.

Regular strength tylenol and Benadryl (I think) are the only things you can take to alleviate the symptoms of the flu while pregnant. Your options are really limited. Check with your doc to get a full list of what you can take to help with the symptoms. Odds are you're probably going to have to tough it out.

For a cough, take Dimeatap. My doctor told me it was safe during pregnancy.
For a stuffy nose, use saline solution. Its just a salt and water mixture.

Stay warm and try to sweat it out.

Under NO curcumstances take Neo Citren. Its not safe at all during pregnancy.
