If I was with someone for more than two years, I would hope there would be more than just sex. Now that the physical side of things is over, I would certainly want the emotional connection we've established to continue. If there wasn't one worth keeping than ending the relationship was the best of choices after all.

after 3 years, she said have a nice summer LOL.
It was a long distance relationship.
I gave and she received but didn't really seem to give back.
I don't expect much, but I got even less. So I just brushed her off, she sends messages now and then, the "how you doing" thing but I just answer quick and short and leave it at that.

Depends on your connection with the person, but after 2 years, I think a friendship is worth it after a break up because their are still feeling there. Just give yourself time until you are over him romantically, then pursue a friendship.

It depends on how the relationship was. I might be their friend but sometimes it's best to let things go completely.

it would depend on why we broke up....
if we broke up just for something new or to go our separate ways, then I'd want to still be friends....
BUT....
If we broke up over something nasty like cheating, abusive, ect, then no.

It would just depend on the situation

I'd still be their friend if we ended our relationship on good terms
