Who lives in mushrooms - fairies or gnomes?

I used to have a children's book about something that lived in mushrooms. Ther child fairy or gnome received a red school bag or satchel but I would like to know who the story was about.

Gnomes do and dwarfs tend to them. Fairies live in flowers especially in corners of gardens. They love corners. Brownies also live in mushrooms although they are not as plentiful as gnomes.

certainly, the faeries. they shop all of the vegetation remarkable and especially and shop the different backyard creatures no longer ordinary at artwork. Goblins, properly!! they're purely as much as mischief all of the time or maybe while they do no longer seem to be they're making plans it. As for Gnomes, the recent boys on the block, i think of they're purely down stunning lazy. have you ever seen one, or the consequence of one having used any of their backyard procedures in a backyard, no. they're too busy doing no longer something, spending all their time fishing, and that they capture no longer something.
