probably close to $4.00 per gallon. it's $3.40 per gallon here in georgia now.

That depends on what part of the country or the world you live in. Where I'm at, it's about $2.45-$-50 a gallon. I hear parts of California and Hawaii are already over $3-3.25 a gallon.
I'd expect that here we'll be about $2.75-$3/gallon by then.

bring the price of oil down when they were elected? Sounds like if they do not have a million investigations on this one, they were just blowing smoke to get elected, as usual, like all politicians. I see they are doing well with the war as well, well I guess I will be getting ready for my FIFTH TOUR IN IRAQ!!!!! Glad the dems went on a ballot that I would not have to go back to Iraq because they would have us all home. Hmm, which plan will really work, will the dems break out that magic wand?

I will say $2.90 a gallon. Right now it is $2.45 here in Montana. I don't think we will see any significant effect on the economy.
