use lemon pledge, then buff with a soft cloth. it will take the bugs off with ease and wont scratch the sheild. never ever use amonia or windex or car windsheild fluid. that will ruin a mc windsheild. pledge works wonders.

DO NOT use Windex or any type of paper towel on a motorcycle windshield. The chemicals in the Windex and the crap at the gas station will cloud the clear plastic and ANY kind of paper towel will scratch the crap out of it. Go to your local store and buy a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide, yeah, the stuff in the brown bottle that you treat minor cuts with. Get a small spray bottle mix the Peroxide with water at a ratio of 50/50 or use it full strength if ya want. Spray it on the shield and let it sit for a few minutes and it will soften the bugs enough to wipe off. Works with bugs on paint too. Also you can take a terry cloth towel, lay it on the windshield and pour warm water over it. Let that soak for a bit and the bugs and dirt will wipe away easier. The only other thing that ever touches my bike is furniture polish. Yep, that's right good old Pledge or even the cheapo Wal-Mart stuff. Puts on a nice shine and works as well as high dollar waxes, most of which are a gimmick anyway.

Huh? What's the question?
I don't think motorcycles have windshields. At least mine don't. However, both of my motorcycles have windscreens. And I like them clean but not being clean doesn't stop me from riding.
I wish I had more to go on, but your question is lacking of one important element - a question.

Well it's tough because they pit really easy. I would say pressure is best, hoses and such.
