dont have sex ,expecialy unprotected, try to wait for mariage
dont do drugs
you are always there for her and will love her even if she does the first two.
being 16 myself, i think these are pretty important.

The most imporant thing to teach a 16 year old girl is: to teach her how to be safe. Teach her to NOT DO DRUGS. The Very most important thing to teach your 16 year old daughter is that you will always be there for her when she needs you.

At 16 if she does not know the important things, its probably too late.
Still
1) respect yourself. Boys are not bad by themselves but be weary of being manipulated or addicted to the wrong one.
2) there is a reasons why your parents have all those rules; beware that your actions have consequences.
3) think about your future and your studies

1. Trust in herself..so she trusts her own judgement, and doesn't feel bad about doing so, or second guess herself.
2. Self Respect...teaching her to respect herself will in many ways teach her to respect others, and when girls respect themselves they are less likely to do drugs, or get into a lot of trouble..mind you I didn't say any trouble.
3. Self reliance....teaching her self reliance, teaches her to think for herself, and not depend on others. Which in todays world is a very neccessary thing.

2. That school is important
3. That even if school is important, she should still make time to have lots of fun with her friends because you only get to be a teen once

im 16.. and the best things i have learned are:
1.self respect
2. confidence
3. follow ur heart
4. ignore peer-pressure
5.avoid the B.S
6.u have to love urself before u can love someone
7.take measure
8.dont let no one bring u down
9.smile
10.take chances
11.god puts me through test. cus he knows im capable of getting through them.. he doesnt put me through them to make me suffer but to make me stronger

1. to always have goals to reach as to what she wants to w/ her life
2. Birth control...if she hasn't yet, she will soon ... whether she's telling you or not!
3. to come to someone w/ problems of anykind...its very bad to hold things in... let it out whatever the problem,talk to someone whether that be you,a teacher or friend..etc..
