We are moving to MECKLENBURG County this summer and we need to find a great school for my 9 year old son who has high functiong autism (aspergers syndrome) Do any of you know of some good schools in that county??? We live in Californa right now so the info is much needed THANKS!!!

He could go to a public school if he isn't too low functioning( I have Asperger's and went there for elementary and am going there for high school but I struggle in high school with organization and forgetfullness) Also, you could put him in a religious school if you're religious.(i went to a religious school in middle school) Another alternative would be homeschooling. Perhaps there would be a magnet school. Lastly, you could contact an Aspie school to see if they know anything about schools in your area. http://aspieschool.org/contact.htm
