Well, he is under rated. Here is why. He led a Syracuse that didn't have much talent other than him, to a National Championship in his freshmen year. He was in the same class coming into the NBA as Lebron James so there wasn't as much hype of Carmelo as there should've been. And, for a large portion of this season, he was the NBA scoring leader until Allen Iverson showed up and started ball hogging and taking shots/points away from Carmelo. Also, his freshman year when Lebron got "freshmen of the year" because he average more points than Carmelo, if you'd figured up points per minute of playing time, Carmelo's average was better. See, Carmelo didn't get as much playing time for the Nuggets as Lebron did for the Caveliers. I personally think Lebron is a great player, but he is the one over rated. Carmelo is under rated!

Over-rated. Yeah, his stats are pretty good, but he can't get his team to elite status. If he was as good as people say, with AI and company, the Nuggets would be way over the .500 mark. Even near the Mevs. Instead of being 29-31, they'd be 45-15 or something. But they're not, so he's definetely over-rated!

Nash and melo are overrated. If Carmelo was even a good player, he would be leading his team to the playoffs right now. He and A.I. should be a blockbuster combo, but they haven't been very good.

I will have to say overrated. No doubt he can score and run but look at his turnover, his amounts in other stats beside scoring. Also looking at his game, he is not a team player. He needs to involve his team more rather playing one on one.

I'd say under. He's clearly one of the bigger stars in the league, but he doesn't get the same press as D-Wade and Lebron. As has been said before, he's leading the league in scoring and is playing for a team that's probably better than Cleveland and Miami.

It depends. If he's ur talkin about his offense he's perfectly fine. But his defense needs to step up another level.

underrated i mean c'mon he's not getting the same hype as lebron james but he's leading the league in ppg, even before the arrival of A.I. not to mention he's grabbing 6.0 rebounds, which is not great, but most of his focus is on scoring and he still finds time to grab some rebounds, which i think is amazing.

I think Anthony is underrated. They keep saying he doesnt do anything else besides scoring, but it is false. He is a complete player.
