9 - especially on K's. Hensley is an interesting choice, he is two pitchers in one- a good one at home, and not so good on the road. Padilla is also really good or really bad and tends to get lit up every 3 games. I would drop him and take a chance on someone with upside - one pitcher everyone seems to have forgotten is John Maine, NYM who can also rack up K's and doesn't play in a homer dome. And Chuck James occasionally goes unnoticed - trade in Padilla and Bush for Maine and James and I'll give you a 9.75
And you would get a 10 with K-Rod as a closer - but that would be dreaming....

If this is H2H, my question is do ou have enough pitchers. Otherwise, Carpenter and Oswalt are as good as it gets I like the move for Schmidt and Bush. A "killer" closer would be nice, but Gordon should get you saves, but maybe hurt your ERA a bit (no biggie) and I like Fuentes this year (he is decent and I think Colorado will surprise people this year with more wins/more save opps). Hensley is OK. I do NOT like Padilla (too inconsistent) and Paps is driving me crazy with the move to SP which will get him more innings after a year in which he got arm weary at the end (can he handle more innings or will the rest between outings be enough????).
Ratings:
SP - 9
RP - 3

Your pitching is definitely solid. Carpenter and Oswalt are amazing, Papelbon will do well as a SP, Schmidt will earn at least 14 or 15 W, and Bush is reliable. Hensley and Padilla are good bench pitchers, but i feel that you could pick up another closer over Gordon. Gordon might have a good ERA, but without him getting saves, it could hurt your team. Maybe you could drop Padilla and try to grab another closer (even if it is Salomon Torres). You can keep Gordon in RP, but if you see Torres performing well, you could throw him in that slot and earn saves. Overall, i have to give you P and 8.5. Nice Job!

7. Very Good. Mike Gonzalez won't do anything for you, however. The Braves already have Bob Wickman as their closer. You need to get rid of that middle reliever for a real closer. Also, since Jonathan Papelbon is a starting pitcher right now, you only have 2 legit closers. Try to get them!!!
