i am a niners fan. and i like lance briggs but he is NOT going to the niners. i love watching defense, and i was one of the biggest supporters of Nolan coaching the niners, because i want to see a strong defense.
Ulbrich is one of the best leaders on the niners, (not the best player). Nolan will not give him up AND 2 draft choices for lance briggs, Nolan is fixing up the defense in a different matter. not by pulling a Redskin move by signing as much FA as possible. right now he's fixing the secondary and hopfully the line. the OLBs are almost set so he's not concentrating there yet
in fact these are all the transacitons for the last month. (several sources)

I think the 49ers would definitely come out big in deal. The bears are great in Draft (Briggs 3 rounder), but they should do more to keep Briggs. I know he wants more than Urlacher, not worth more, but something can b worked out. Briggs is one of the most underrated players in the league, but he still needs to understand his place on the team. Second to Brian on a SuperBowl team should b good enough. All I say is careful what you wish for, the 49ers are rebuilding and looking good, BUT, they are not the BEARS and at least a year or so away from a playoff caliber team. Bottom line is.... This just might work out best for everyone involved, Briggs will anchor 49ers defense for years and the Bears can get a couple good picks and/or trade up for a better pick. I STILL DON'T THINK THIS WILL HAPPEN! BRIGGS WILL BE BEARS FOR '07-'08! SORRY

Seems like a good trade for both players and teams. Briggs wanted out and Chicago got a good deal in return.
By the way do you what round the picks are in??

because many communities tamper with gamers and goodell only wanted to make a level by technique of penalizing between the communities that became maximum glaring...thats why they were penalized so gently. The dolphins also tampered with justin smiley from the 49ers...they ought to've been punished.

Good job depending on the picks. If the picks are 3rd round or earlier, it's a terrible trade. If not, pretty good!
