It was created by a brilliant and shrewd Australian businessman named Rupert Murdoch, who also owns a lot of tabloid newspapers. I have to keep reminding people who keep reminding me that Fox is the number one cable news channel that The Sun, a tabloid which features buxom, topless women on the third page, is the number one newspaper in the UK. Both are the brainchilds of Mr Murdoch, who knows how to cater to the lowest common denominator in Western society.
(PS: Enjoy The Beltway Boys - thumbs up for that at least. Proper, informed (though somewhat opinion-based) dialogue with a sense of humor. Pity they followed up such a thoughtful segue yesterday with an hour-long expose' on Anna Nicole Smith's drug doctor).

Fox and most other mainstream media entities are the syringes mainlining the mind-altering, psychosis-inducing propaganda munificently showered upon Americans by the Party. Social Darwinists comprising the Party, including major corporate shareholders and executives, Israeli interests, the military industrial complex, plutocrats, the power players of the Religious Right, and intellectual elites hold the Great Beast (us "commoners") at bay with a powerfully addictive state of being called the American Dream.
It is indeed a Brave New World. As many Americans somnambulate through their existence, they are virtually oblivious and indifferent to the profound human misery which must occur in order for a tiny fraction of humanity to experience the American Dream. The fact that Fox enrages libs so much actually makes me want to turn the TV on and watch it.

FOX NEWS is......according to Fox's lawyers......
entertainment programming with no responsibility to present unbiased truth........It is to News as MXC was to sports.
The Bush Administration decided that FOX truth was better than real truth so the Military required all Televisions in Public Areas to be tuned to this fictional News as if it were real.
So it has become the official Propaganda Arm of the federal government

Fox "news" was created for many nefarious reasons, but now it is painfully obvious that it exists as a 24/7 Anna Nicole broadcast. It is astoundingly pathetic.
