with it when you are sexually attracted to another man besides your husband. Do you distance yourself or fantasize? Do you tell your husband about the attraction? If not why? Isn't ok to look but don't touch?

(If you are not sexually attracted to another man, this question is not for you---cause you're lying anyway.)

A few years ago, my boss and I travelled to a conference. We got trapped by a snowstorm at home, at the site of the conference, for a few extra days. This wasn't such a big deal, but we spent a lot of time together, talking. At the time, he was involved with someone, and I was single, and we were talking about relationships...I had just started dating someone, at the time. And he pointed out, as he noticed someone that he was attracted to, "I'm married, not dead. Of course I still notice attractive people."

I think that's a very healthy attitude. A strong, comitted relationship can survive people noticing the things they find attractive in another person. It's about coming home to the person you've made a spiritual, romantic, emotional, etc, comittment to.

Well, I distanced myself from the person to whom I was attracted, fantasized my fool head off, and did NOT tell my husband. Telling him would have served no purpose other than hurting him, and because I love him I don't want to do that. Sure it's okay to look but touch, especially if you have no intention whatsoever of touching, but it's NOT okay to rub the other person's nose in the fact that you're looking!

I was married and was sexually attracted to other men and since this is a small town and everybody knows everybody I just kept it all a fantasy. I could not tell my husband because he was insanely jealous. I think its fine to look and not touch. Im single now so I can look and touch and its wonderful.

I do my best to avoid any situation where I might run into this guy. As hard as it is. I know a certain bar he goes to often, (the best one in town) That's where I ran into him last time I saw him. I ended up dancing with him. Even though it was just dancing, I felt horrible going home to my husband. So I don't even go into that bar. The one time I did, I did nothing but think about him and wonder if he was going to show up. Much easier to avoid. Especially if it is a very strong attraction.

Its normal to be attracted to otherpeople but that dosn't affect my relationship with my man. I made a committment and as long as he treats me well Im in this thing. Sure its ok to fantasize about other dudes, gotta get that frustration out some how!

I distance myself and fantasize. I would never act on my feelings nor would I tell my husband, because I love him and wouldn't want to hurt him in any way.

If I get turned on by another guy, I bring that feeling home and persue my husband. He's better than any other guy anyway.
