this year i met a group of people! i thought they were really great.. until, they started bagging my best friend and telling her to go away and saying i could sit with them, i think the only reason they like me might be coz their friend 'loves' me.. how can i be sure?

You should never distance your old friends and replace them with new friends. If your new friends do not like your old friends then that is their problem; do not let them dictate your social status.

From the mouths of babes. The one lesson I learned the best was choosing my friends wisely, in adulthood it serves you well to do the same. Never would I ever let anyone disrespect my best friend, you know why? I am almost 25 with 2 children, you know what else? My best friend from middle school is still my best friend even after I moved to another state in high school. The people that made fun of us in school? Where are they. Don't trade a good friend for people that don't care about you, because if they did, they would care about your friend.
