? It happens to be some kind of credit card for catalogs or something. I am current on all my credit cards. I am about to change jobs and I want to consolidate my cards and have just one(1) mthly payment. I am so stressed I going thru something my brother is dieing with paneatic cancer and has been told by the doctors that he may only have 2 more mths to live. I tryed to cancel it but authorization went thru already. What now?

Call the company and tell them you don't want it. Then, cut it up. So sorry about your brother.

Cut it up, don't send it back in the mail. someone might get ahold of it. It will count against you when they figure your debt to income ratio. The available credit is counted whether you charged it to the limit or not. Notify the company that you are closing the account in writitng. good luck and prayers to you and your family.

It actually helps your credit.. If you still only buy something of $1 or $10 dollars.. pay it..and it will go on your record that you paid it on time..then you clip it in half and dont use it anymore.

shred the card in pieces, then send the card to the company that authorized it, and tell them you longer need their assistance, if they try to ignore your request, then forward your message, along w/ theirs, to your local attorney general
