Motorcycle and quads get water vapor that builds up in the tank after sitting for a while. The water settles in the carburetor and plugs up the jets. On the bottom of the carb there is a screw with a hose coming out or a plug on the bottom of the carb unscrew the screw or(plug) and drain some of the gas out of the carb. it should drain the water and help the bike run smoother and keep it at a steady idle.

Is the gas turned on at the petcock? Are you using the choke?

U can check the plug by removing it, placing it back in the cap and laying it on the outside of the cylinder (with the wide part of the plug touching metal not the tip), turn it over and check the spark, it should be a strong blue/white spark.

If the spark plug is wet, then your flooding it out and you'll want to leave it out for a couple of minutes and turn the engine over to evaporate out the fuel in the cylinder. Put the plug back in and try again.

Plugs are wearing out. Re-gap them and don't idle the engines as much.

Bad connections or bad fuel. the idling might need adjusting.
