How in the Hell is Sanjaya still on American Idol? He should have been booted off at least two weeks ago! It's so frustrating to watch this moron wear his fruity shirts and corny smile!!!
btw: For you smart asses, this isn't racially motived - I am part East Indian, and I still happen to hate his untalented guts.

I didn't read any racism into your question at all. He lacks the talent necessary for the top 12, regardless of his race. He most likely DOES have the Indian population behind him though, along with younger girls and the gay community (I'm not being homophobic, but c'mon- this kid is clearly playing for their team). He's not a horrible singer, and his original audition to get to Hollywood WAS good. He's just completely out of his league now. If it makes you feel any better, I've made it clear to all of my 9 year old students that Sanjaya does NOT deserve to win, and they all have a tendency to agree with me. Ah, the power of being an educator. :)

His talent is small at this stage in his life and being only 17 has no idea how to preform. And yes! There are a bunch of folks out there working their fingers to the bone making multiple votes for him. 23 million viewed the show and 32 million voted-hummm, what is wrong with that figure?
So if you have a favorite make multiple calls.
As an older gal (62), I feel Jones or Doolittle should be the Idol, unless they screw up royally. Sabrina and Sundance should have stayed too.
The sad part in all this is: If Sanjaya should win, who will buy his records and he will learn first hand that friends and family may like your singing but the rest of the world doesn't.
Too many kids, are told by their parents & friends, how great they are at something when they really aren't. They get a false hope and then they learn the truth the hard way.
If I had been in his shoes, a few weeks ago, I would have taken the place of the guy who got voted off.
So you see, even old women don't care for him.

as much as sundance (or aj for that matter) deserves a place in the top 12 over sanjaya i think your going a little overboard, its not sanjaya's fault that he got more votes, its the public who didn't vote enough for others to stay. you should chill out and remember your attacking a 17 year old kid who just wants to sing. it may be just me, but he's been looking pretty miserable lately on the show, i think he wants out.

Sanjaya is worse than all of them.. they all are way better and deserve to be on there... Why he is still on there is beyond me.. someone had an idea that there is something that makes like 1,000 votes go in at one time.. Maybe? Also votefortheworse.com is voting for him too.. I hate it..

Um, no cuz i do no longer watch American Idol...yet i might just to verify him all the way down to the backside 2, cuz i think of his sucky voice against a good one may be hilarious. yet i think of that's how the consequence would be besides... Do you? lots of persons think of that the Indians are rigging it. Who knows. ^_^ he's exciting.

vote for the worst seems to be the new trend on idol.. face it.. that the fact that sanjaya keeps making it week after week makes for good Tv drama, keeps people watching.

you mean you don't think that Sacajawea (as i call him cuz he looks like her and his name sounds like it too) has the most incredible voice you have ever heard? gosh i would put him up there as one of the greatest singers of all time including William Hung and Milli Vanilli... his voice reminds me of the soothing sound of a dying cow going through adolescence, giving birth while being run over by a train.
I hope Sacajawea wins the contest to show that not only does America love cute country girls, and rock star guys, but they also love terribly unfortunate animals.
Caution: If you did not pick up on my severe sarcasm then you should take a good long look at yourself in the mirror and shake your head in disappointment.
But seriously, i think that Melinda, Lakisha (i think that's her name) and Stephanie have the most incredible voices and should definitely be in the top 3.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Becasue Sanjaya Malakar is a really good singer he just sometimes doesn't pick the right song. If you don't think he is I do and so do other people. He is also really cute and has a really good smile and I think could be a good Idol. And yeah I am only 14 and if I had a cellphone I would be voting for him but he's unique.
