When muslims in Iraq and elsewhere behave like animals, blowing up innocent people, and we catch suspects, should we treat them like we treat other suspects? For that matter, why do criminals given the death sentence live so long, going from one appeal to another appeal? Is anyone else there who thinks animals who have lost their civility should not be treated civilly?

Yes. People only have to look at history of the Muslims to know that they have no concern for human life or human dignity. If we fight like the Red Coats, we will loose to the animals of the world. Don't use women interrogators because the muslims consider women second class and it is an insult? please

Let's start with the fact that you cannot equate Muslims and terrorists. One group has nothing to do with the other. Just look at Oklahoma City if you have any doubts about that.

Also, let's say that there are 150K Islamic terrorists worldwide. That's equal to the entire US armed forces in Iraq. But it's still less than 1/100th of 1% of all Muslims. Compare that to the fact that 1% of the US are felons or incarcerated currently.

As to why people sentenced to death get so many appeals, usually they get one. Maybe two. Why? Because that's how the laws are currently written. And those laws were put in place because of statistics showing how often people were wrongly correctly of serious crimes. Many innocent people were being sentenced to death, or life in prison, and the fact that they were innocent wasn't discovered by the police for a decade or more. Now, much of that was caused by poor forensic science in the 70s and 80s, so it may be time to change those laws. But if you're going to kill someone, wouldn't you rather be sure the laws were actually followed?

As to being civil with terrorists, please cite some examples. Because from what I've seen, even the accusation of being a terrorist is sufficient grounds for this country to throw out the Constitution and act unconscionably.

Yes. They criminals shouldn't be put on death row where they wiat for 20 years before they're executed. They should be put to death after they talk with a pastor. Then after that, just put them to death. I'm sorry if I seem like a evil hateful person. It's just wrong for terrible criminals to get death sentances and end up waiting for like 20 years before they actually get executed.

Still high enough on hubris to believe the Bush Regime is righteous in passing judgment and proclaiming that Iraq, Iran, and North Korea form an "Axis of Evil"? While you are grabbing stones to cast at this trio for their deplorable records on human rights, consider the acts of barbarism, terrorism, and deceit the United States has committed against the first member of the so-called "Axis" over the last two decades. Since Reagan swaggered into office, America has been committing genocide against the Iraqi people in multiple ways. Bear in mind that these "evil" Iraqis never attacked the United States or its citizens. Their crime? Ostensibly it was that their tyrannical leader, Saddam Hussein, needed to be deposed, they possessed weapons of mass destruction, they were a threat to the United States, and eventually were complicit in 9/11. But for those who live in reality, the Iraqis’ true "sins" were possessing vast quantities of oil, daring to sell their oil for Euros instead of the almighty Dollar, and posing a "threat" to poor little Israel, a nation bristling with military firepower and enjoying the unflinching support of the most powerful military in the history of humanity.

As an aside, if the “infinitely benevolent” United States bore the responsibility of removing Hussein to “liberate the Iraqis”, a question naturally arises. Which nation will liberate the world from Bush and his team of despicable Neocons?
