They are not too good right now but when Eli Manning matures and the get a better running backs than Brandon Jacobs and Reuben Droughns. they will probably be pretty good. And it really hurt them when Tiki Barber retired.

I just love all these answers. Everybody believes that Eli sucks. Well, let me tell you something, Skippy.
Eli has been doubted since day 1. Nobody believe he'd be as good as peyton, or archie for that matter. But, wait a second. Who played a better game when the Mannings faced off? Eli. Who led the Giants from a 7-24 defecit with 10 minutes remaining against the eagles in week 2? Eli did. Who had the best quarterback rating of any quarterback in wild card weekend? That was Eli. Y'all can bash on Eli, but he's just gonna come back next year and tear it up.
Yeah, Tiki's gone. However Jacobs is more than capable of carrying the workload. I mean, have you seen him? He is a beast! The Giants also cleaned house recently. Getting rid of players who weren't as productive as they could have been. They are looking to spend their money on younger, more prodcutive players. Coughlin is a great coach, and don't be suprised when the Giants come out next year to win the division.
I love the Giants. They are a GREAT team. They are the only team in the NFL that shows any heart when playing the game. You know why? The Giants have the ability to beat any team in the league. I guess that's why Eli has led 8 4th quarter comebacks in his 41 starts. The Giants are the only team that proves that it ain't over till the clock hits 0.

What is it with all of these negative, nasty comments? The Giants are not a horrible team, not at all. Sure, they finished 8-8, but does anyone remember they were 6-2 and had just steamrolled Dallas IN Dallas before literally half their starters began dropping like flies? Strahan, Umenyiora, Toomer,Petitgout, Madison, Short, Arrington, missed several games each with injuries. Yeah, all teams have to deal with injuries, but so many key players getting hurt at once and missing multiple games will kill any team.
The Giants are a good team, they just had a bad year. Look at Philly in 2005. The Eagles had a losing record, but rebounded nicely in 2006. The Giants should do the same. The only thing that may bring them down is the relationship between Coughlin and his players. If Coughlin is fired, then I'll be happy to have Mike Singletary take over!
Also, say what you want about Shockey, love him or hate him, he is one of the toughest guys in the NFL, even Joe Buck and Joe Theismann have said that on the broadcasts.
The Giants will come back strong in 2007!!

I also have a feeling that there could be extremely some those that could change over since's New Jersey and manhattan, and that i've got a feeling that many of the Giants followers their decide directly to help their very own team, yet decide directly to help the extra desirable team because of the fact they could be extra thrilling to stick to; yet I ought to assert that i do no longer think of that which will take place for a minimum of a million, possibly 2 many years because of the fact the Giants are doing wonderful applicable now, and their team purely retains on development.

Well..they have done nothing in free agency, so I'm sure everyone thinks they'll suck this year. Which means they'll win the division. The Giants have always been better with less expectations on them. GO GIANTS!!

They're going to be pretty bad this up-coming season. No Tiki. They have "Reuben Droughns and Brandon Jacobs". Droughns can bruse defenders and so can Jacobs. Where's the speed going to come from? And they lost Petitgout, who was one of their best blockers. Also, Toomer is declining. Manning will get sacked a lot and will throw over 20 ints.
Predicted Record: 7-9

With Tiki gone, every ounce of class has dissappeared from that organization.
Shockey?? Burress??? Strahan??? Manning??? Coughlin??? If I was a Giants fan, I'd beg for a bullet to the head.

I despise every ounce of them. Especially Strahan, Eli & lazy Plax. It is sweet to not have to deal with smug ahole Tiki anymore, though.
Giants will rule the nfc east cellar in '07-'08.
