The network American Movie Classics used to be one of the best places on TV to see old films that were not seen elsewhere. They showed films from the thirties and forties without cuts or commercial interruptions.
The changes they have made can only be attributed to low ratings and poor cash flow.
The movie "Catwoman" can not be thought of as a classic in any sense of the word.
A & E also used to show much more interesting fare. I remember watching filmed plays such as "Hughie" by Eugene O'Neil with Jason Robards as well as classical music concerts.
Such is the sad fate of television in the 21st century.

LOL... I was gonna ask the same thing. But seriously, sometimes they show old movies by actors who have movies coming out soon. Ms. Berry has a film called "Perfect Stranger" coming out soon co-staring Bruce Willis. But other than that... Catwoman should never be seen on network TV.

they couldn't afford to get the rights to show Batman Begins but for some mysterious reason Catwoman was really cheap.

Why indeed!!!???!!! Even Halle Berry's sexiness can't save that movie. The movie's just so bad.

LOL! I generally feel sorry for these tv people-they are so hard pressed to find fresh, interesting material.

BEcause, they ran out of fresh, interesting material.......
