ipod and itunes help needed?

I have an Ipod mini. I just decided to download Itunes and it's telling me that the music I have on it cannot be synced because "the required file cannot be found". Can someon etell me how to get my music to play on my computer.

Also, ummm, the music was downloaded from winmx (if you get my drift). I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

I've had this Ipod for about two years now. And, I havent had winmx for about a year and a half. I just wanted to remove some songs and add a few to my ipod. That's why I downloaded itunes.

is there a grey circle next to the song on itunes? if there is, it means itunes can't locate the song file on your computer. you might want to try to delete the song, relocate, and then add it to your ipod.
