m = (3-1) / (-3-4) = -2/7
y = mx + b
1 = -2/7(4) + b
1 = -8/7 + b
b = 15/7
y = -2/7x + 15/7

First find the slope using the equation m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1). Then using that info write an equation in the form of y=mx+b, Where m is the slope in fration form and b is the y-intercept. draw a graph that always helps me.
m=(3-1)/(-3-4)
m=2/-7 Or =m-2/7 ( this is a better way to write it)
There is a start you try to finish the rest.
good luck

You want the slope and y intercept so we can put it into y=mx+b so lets get the slope first. Change in y over change in x.
1-3/4+3=-2/7
now plug in to y=mx+b to find b. Also plug in 4, 1 as x and y respectively
1=-2/7*4+b
1=-8/7+b
15/7=b
and now we have both values so y=-2/7x+15/7

first you'll need to find the slope by : -3 - 4/3 - 4 which will equal 7/1 or just 7 then put it in the equation by choosing only one pair of points it'll look like this y-4=7(x-4)

Omg learnt that at like seventh grade... maybe paying interest could help and why could somebody else do your homework? next to the certainty that each and all the questions are rediculous ordinary. yet in simple terms placed a numer in on your X or Y or despite letter and sparkling up the situation. Then analyze with given factors and you be attentive to the respond.

first find the slope using
y2 - y1
---------
x2 - x1
then use the y-int form to solve for the y-intercept
y=mx+ b
m is the slope u just calculated
now just plug in either (4,1) or (-3,3) as x and y and solve for b

first find the slope, m, using the equation:
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
then use the general equation for a line, y = mx + b to input the slope and one of the coordinates you have been given

moo hit the nail on the head.
drawing a sketch of your graph also helps with knowing if you are right or wrong in calculating the equation
