hair lightening?

Question

I want to lighten my hair color. Currently it is dark blonde with natural sun streaked highlights. I dont want any type of hair dye what so ever, so salon is out of the question. Im thinking about Hydrogen Peroxide or Sun In or something along those lines. any personal ideas or suggestions?

i dont realyl recommend SUN-IN because i used it and after wards my hair started to fall out really bad like never before and plus alot of people say it damages ur hair real bad even lemon juice, hair dye is less damaging as i figuared out on my own.

Do not use hydrogen peroxide but yes Sun in works great! Definately get sun in it looks very natural and there is very little damage to your hair unlike bleach or dyeing it! Good Luck! :)

My brother and sister had natural light brown hair when they were young and used Sun-In. It worked very well and the blonde highlights they got looked very natural. It works best if you are actually out in the sun a lot, however.

I'm a hair stylist....I wouldn't use hydrogen peroxide on your hair...it would damage it too and the same with sun in....just beacuse they sell it dosen't mean it good for your hair...and putting lemon in it ....is simliar to dying it ..because of the acid in the lemon.....

chamomile is supposed to work, is a herb that looks like a daisy and smells like apples when crushed. sun in works, but sometimes too much, just try a little a a time to see if you like the result.

if u put lemon juice in ur hair, and lay out in the sun it will work!!

put lots of lemon juice in your hair and sit out ... you can also try a hair lightning spray! GOOD luck
