Some of the newer model gas ranges don't allow for lifting the top to gain access to the complete burner unit. If yours does, lift the top, set the brace that holds it, and take hold of one of the burner assemblies and twist it gently to see if it lifts up. (There may be a shipping screw holding it to the center brace bar). If you can't twist the assembly, and you can see where it's screwed down, take the screw out and then try again. Once the screw is gone, the unit should twist slightly and lift out. Each one should work the same way. You may soak them in soapy water in the sink, scrub all the little holes out and rinse with clear water. If you have an air compressor, you could blow off the excess water with a stream of air and they will dry quicker. Put them back in, (the screw isn't necessary unless you're going to move the range to a different house), and turn on the gas. It should lite.

i'm truly afraid by technique of now that the damage has been accomplished, yet the following is going. Your range genuine has a painted the teeth floor, so the cord brush, scraping and most of the solvents I said recommended are literally not a reliable theory. you'd be eliminating and/or scarring the paint to boot as eliminating the caked on grease. For the the teeth aspects, moist paper towels in undiluted bleach and lay ontop of aspects until eventually the stain loosens. you are able to attempt this various cases. that is also haw you clean the scratched aspects. if you're talking about the forged iron products that you sit down the cookware on, you are able to do an identical issue my Granny did with her previous forged iron. She could rake leaves, etc., contained in the again backyard and upload sufficient timber to make a small, warm hearth then placed the products contained in the hearth. this may Char the caked on grease making it brittle sufficient to then eliminate with a cord brush. wish those answer a number of your question.

To clean all the residue in the little holes you can use a paper clip or bobby pin. Its time consuming but simple enough, as for the rest of the cleaning I believe these other answers are specific enough.

Simple Green is great for baked on grease. For the stovetop itself buy one of those Mr. Clean magic eraser sponges. They really do work for hard to get off grease. For really stubborn stains use Zud cleanser.
