i have the bright wide sylvani aheadlights but they just dont seem the moneys worth. i was told there was a power inverter that i can add to them? is that true what can i use to make them brighter than they are?

Buy brighter ones.. or clean the existing ones!

i own a shop ,and there are brighter bulbs that you can add to them to make them a lot brighter,there called high intensity bulbs ,and use a much higher wattage,but they are real bright,also cleaning the lens will help keep the ones you have shining real bright,good luck,i hope this helps.
