i wanna get the top of my ear pierced. where whould the best place to get it pierced at? and what are the pros and cons?

If you are determined to do this then by all means have it done at a professional piercing place. The one bad thing I know (my middle daughter has it done) is her hair tends to get tangled in it once in a while. Good luck and keep it clean to avoid infection.

I like the cartilage piercings, they're pretty. The only negative thing about them is that they take a while to heal. Make sure to get it on the side that you don't sleep on, otherwise you're in for some uncomfortable nights. After it heals it's well worth the discomfort.

I had mine pierced at a place that actually had me lay on a table and he told me how it worked, It hurt really bad afterwards, I loved it, but I played with it too much so it kept getting infected. If you leave it alone it will be fine, plus it kept poking my head when I slept, so a ring would be better, but I had a real diamond and it looked sooooo cool. I took it out. bothered me too much.

You can get it done the best at jewlery stores. Those are the people I would trust the most. The first time I got my ears percied it was at Claires and they got the gun stuck in my ear so I wouldn't recomend ANY place like that. So to stay safe go to a place you trust. REMEMBER... I STRONGLY RECOMEND A JEWLERY STORE!

get it pierced at a piercing shop.
are you talking about your carilage?
the pros: it's pretty, it's cool, fashionable
the cons: it'll hurt, if they pierce it in the wrong place you, could get your face paralized. (that happened to a friend)
oh yeah and chocolate will help ease the pain. :-)
