Sounds like you have been more then cold to her- I would think you've been freezing. But that is by what you have said, and without the full story I have no idea.

It also sounds like she isn't into the idea of this being the end. she is talking to you by text, and that's a good sign. Talking is always good.

I would 1st never ask your other friends what she said to them. It's not nice to ask around about people. I'm guessing your in high school, and it's common there, but you'll find that people frown on that later in life.

2nd I would just get over your old fight and talk. Now that may not work out well, but It doesn't matter. You need to make sure that if you and she are no longer close that you are not to blame. take some time and think about the fight (or whatever else it was that made you and her not doing great). think about what you should have done and go to her, not as a jerk, but with kindness in your heart. friends don't come easy, try to keep them close. Just talk with her... scratch that... listen to her and see what's in her heart.

I have found that when I have been in a bad time with my friends, most the time they are having a bad time at home and I was just to dumb to see that they needed me. It may not be that, but be ready for it.

The biggest thing is to get over your own feelings and just open up to her. When your a friends things don't get in the way of your friendship- friendship is not about hanging out and laughing, though those things are important it's about being there for your friend and loving them when it's hard.

It means that your friend really isn't sure about why you are mad at each other or at least doesn't see the issue as big to her than it is to you. Sounds to me like she is willing to make up but wants to give you the time and space you need. I wouldn't think that was a bad thing.

The very best thing to do is call her or meet her and talk about what's bothering you. You both might end up laughing by the end of it. Never take second hand information when it comes to relationships, always go straight to the other person.

The best way in any relationship is to talk directly with each other and not through other people. Why don't you just ask your friend what is going on in the relationship and what direction does the relationship need to go? But first figure out why you are being cold to her and what do you want out of the relationship before you try to talk her - find out about yourself.

Really in any relationship keeping open the lines of communication between each other is always best, because when translated through other people meanings and words could be changed.

Hope this helps.

it means she is trying to step back and let time cool things down, she understands your angry and jsut wants you to have the time. However it also sounds like if you dont cool off from whatever goin on, she aint going to sweat it either

I know this seems hard but LET GO. It is the best thing besides talking to her...
