Okay, well I really don't know what would be better, going to Claires or The Icing or going to a local salon. Money isn't a huge object and i have gotten mixed responses on Claires, I know people have had infections in their ears because the needle wasnt sterile..etc. what are your thoughts and/or where did you get yours done?

i got second holes in 5th grade and they made one super close to the first and the other one in the other ear was totally far away... go to a local salon, claires isn' t the best place b/c they are like really eager to get it over with and don't care about getting a good job done!

You wouldnt have gotten the infection from an unsterile needle, the needle going through your ear is the earring itself, not an actual needle. Everyone has an earring infection, regardless of where it is done. I had my second hole done at one claires and it looked really uneven and bad so i took it out and a few weeks later i got it done again and it looked good. just make sure you look in the mirror yourself and see if they are even

I first had my ears pierced when I was 8...i went to the Piercing Pagoda. When I was 13 I decided I wanted a second hole in each ear, so I went to Claires.
They put the holes so close to the first holes that I cannot wear two earrings at once. It was a waste of my time and money...I don't recommend going to Claires at all.

I have two piercings in each ear and i have got them all done at Claire's. I have gotten a minor infection before but I don't think it had anything to do with Claire's. Jst make sure u clean them properly and you will be fine. Enjoy your new piercings!!

Well I would say go to a good piercer cause they will be the cleanest. I've got all the holes in my ears done at a piercer and have never had a problem. But a local salon might be ok to as long as it's clean.

i would go to a local salon. some of the people working at claires are just teenagers, and they may not have acquired the best techniques yet. good luck!

actually every one pretty much gets infection, no matter what or where u get it done. my sister did mine and it was fine didnt really get infected and also i think claires is fine. gud luck! =)
