Okay, well I really don't know what would be better, going to Claires or The Icing or going to a local salon. Money isn't a huge object and i have gotten mixed responses on Claires, I know people have had infections in their ears because the needle wasnt sterile..etc. what are your thoughts and/or where did you get yours done?

Any help appreciated! thx!!!!<3

I got mine doen at Claires. And they got infected. I got my next pair done somewhere a little more professional, and it was more expensive, but they didn't get infected or anything. And the woman was nicer, and like took more time with me and all. At Claires they just kidna rushed me in and out, and didn't even put the holes where I wanted them (they're slightly crooked)

...so basically...I wouldn't recommend going there.

I got my ears done at a place in the mall called "La Bella Ve"
they did my ears very well it was ablut $35.00. I know it's high but I wanted them to use a hollow needle instead of a gun. they explained to me that the gun uses air pressure to slit the tissue and it takes linger to heal. but with the needle it takes half the time to heal and it also doen't hurt as much as the gun does. the needle pokes out the skin instead of just pushing it to the side. I have gotten my ears done there 6 times.

I have my ears peirced 7 times. the other peircing was done at claires. I hated that place they got my holed clooked and everything. I was so mad and they were really infected and I promiced myself that I would never go there again.

I don't recomend you going there please go to molinos or a tatoo and peircing shops they usualy do the best quality work. try to avoid the malls unless there's a La Bella Ve.

Claires(and Icing) don't use needles. The peircing is done by the earing and that is prepackaged and sterile. It doesn't matter where you go if you don't follow care procedures. I don't know where else you have, so I can't say which is better. Just make sure that you check where they plan on doing it--if you okay the position and then its off, you can't blame them.

My first holes were done @ a local salon, the second @ Claire's, & had my cartilage done @ Claire's as well. I had no problem with infections from any of mine. The main thing is watching them sterilize everything and after piercing care, FOLLOW the instructions they give you. Usually you won't have problem.

I got my ears pierced at Claire's, and my left ear piercing is messed up. I would say go to a shop that is definitely certified for piercings and has a really good record for piercings. {{ex: clean needles}} Actually, it's just the Claire's I went to. But otherwise, I recommend the certified piercing place.

hey i just got my ears pierced 2 weeks ago and i am a huge wuss and i have tryed to do it 4 times before but each time they go to do it i get up and walk out so i finally did it because i dint think about it and i feel so stupid for running out all those times before because it was so easy!!! it douse not heart at all so go ahead and try it- trust me it douse not hurt and if you are scared have two people do it at one its as easy as 1-2-3 also i suggest you tell them not to count before they do it-it just builds up pressure.

PS i got my ears peirced at clairs in Westgate and i have no innfections

Claire's! i got them done there they're are really nice people, it only hurts for a little bit until they put on antispetic. i don't think people get infections at Claires unless they touch their ears a lot which i did

your best bet. go to your doctor. they will pierce your ears. i myself went to claires and it was fine, i went to piercing pagoda the second set of holes and that was fine. most people are fine... but.. if i could do it again i dont think i would. i really dont like the idea of someone making minimum wage, or a high school drop out, putting a hole in my flesh. second best bet is go to a professional piercer, like where you would find one at a tattoo parlor.
