Unfortunately, yes! I think my husband, son and I all have inherited the packrat "gene." My daughter isn't as affected, thank goodness!
We just can't seem to keep our garage clear enough to park cars in it, no matter how much "organizing" we attempt. Even when having garage sales, or making donations, there is still too much stuff.
We had new floors/carpeting put in a couple of summers ago and still have possessions with no places to put them! I collect books and even when I get rid of some, there still isn't room to store the remainder.
