MY wife says the same thing and sometimes if I move to fast it does hurt her. I've found that the key is taking it slow and making sure she is really lubed up and ready. Sometimes even letting her orgasm by my hand or mouth before I enter her. You could also try letting her be on top, that way she can adjust and control how deep she goes. Then again sometimes we just like to go hard. You need to be in tune with her body and respect what she is feeling for it to be good for both of you. As to the amount, clean up is a natural part of the process. Unless you use a condom to catch most of it (I usually leak out the sides anyway) just know that's an extra precaution you have to take.
