What is the best computer monitor I can buy for under $250?

I'm getting a mac pro and doing some video editing and photoshop. I want a good clear monitor that will last and is under $250, and no smaller than 17".

Im pretty sure with 250 dollars you can get a well over 17" monitor, go on newegg.com and find yourself a suitable one
