First, you need a day crème or moisturizer that is water based. Lotions that contain mineral oil sit on the top layer of your skin like saran wrap (this is why your face looks and feels dry later) and just get wiped off over time. Water based products will penetrate the dermis and deeply condition your skin leaving it looking and feeling hydrated and healthy, without looking or feeling oily.
I recommend Arbonne as they formulate all of their products, including cosmetics, with natural botanicals that are pure, safe, and beneficial for all skin types, including combination and oily skin. They are Swiss products, regulated by the FDA and do not contain any harmful ingredients such as chemicals, wax, dyes, fragrances, animal products or bi-products, alcohol, acetone, or mineral oil. They also contain nanosphere which make them suitable for all skin types and adjusts to your skins specific needs (leaving more hydration in dry areas and less is oily areas).
The line defiance liquid foundation is perfect for mature, dry skin. Arbonne also has a great mineral powder with an SPF if you wish to give your skin a nice flawless look after foundation, or you can choose to wear it alone. Their color collection is convenient, customizable, and offers variety and simplicity.
If you love the products, you have the option of purchasing them at 35% off which will save you a lot of money. If you're open to trying a free sample of the day crème, I'll be happy to send one to you. If you would like more information on the cosmetics, contact me and I'll get you the info. Good luck.

I use bare minerals and I am 42. I love it. It doesnt do that to me at all. As a matter of fact, people think that I am in my 20's and 30's.

I am only 13 and I use Bare Minerals and my skin looks fine. I use a moisturizer underneath and let it set for a few minutes then apply it. My skin looks flawless. Any other foundation on me looks fake.

It didn't work well for me either. I found that it just didn't cover as well as a thicker foundation. I honestly don't think it works half as well as they would like you to think. And the colors are off--my mother is usually a porcelain color, but uses their medium beige. I'm usually a medium tan, but use tan in Bare Minerals. Weird.

I felt the same way that it brought out the fine lines and wrinkles and emphasized them. Switch to another brand of makeup if this one doesn't work for you, there are hundreds of other brands that are just as good.

yes because honestly it is made for older people. unless you are above the age 40 then use it. it will make you look younger but my opinion on 40 and under ladies should wear a non-oil based foundation. just something simple. no need to make your face look caked and crinkly

Do you use moisturizer under your BE? I do, especially around my eyes, and do not get a dry look.
